Oggigiorno, grazie alla realtà virtuale, è possibile non solo visitare, ma anche chattare con persone che vivono all'estero. 

La Realtà Virtuale (VR) è una tecnologia che crea ambienti immersivi e simulati, permettendo agli utenti di vivere esperienze in luoghi come se fossero fisicamente lì. Utilizzando visori VR o app, si possono visitare luoghi lontani tramite video a 360°, tour virtuali e esperienze immersive.

Piattaforme come Google Earth e app VR permettono di esplorare monumenti, città o anche di partecipare a eventi live da remoto. La VR rende possibile "viaggiare" e interagire con persone in luoghi lontani senza lasciare casa.
Questo apre opportunità di connessione con gruppi di persone o studenti interessati non solo a scoprire nuove realtà, ma anche a comunicare in inglese con pari di altre nazionalità.
Come sappiamo, l'inglese è la lingua franca globale.
Ecco perché il corso che gestisco presso il PIME di Milano si chiama Inglese per Viaggiare. Combina la possibilità di chattare con persone di tutto il mondo con l'arte del viaggiare, che ora è diventata più accessibile e a portata di tutti grazie alle esperienze virtuali.
Pertanto, questo post è rivolto a tutti coloro che potrebbero essere interessati a entrare in contatto con altri gruppi di studenti adulti o senior per "visitare" e conoscere nuovi posti, mentre allo stesso tempo "chattano" in inglese.



Nowadays, thanks to virtual reality, it is possible not only to visit but also to chat with people living overseas.
Virtual Reality (VR) is a technology that creates immersive, simulated environments, allowing users to experience places as if they were physically there. By using VR headsets or apps, you can visit distant locations through 360° videos, virtual tours, and immersive experiences.
Platforms like Google Earth and VR apps allow you to explore landmarks, cities, or even participate in live events remotely. VR makes it possible to "travel" and interact with people in faraway places without leaving home.
This opens up opportunities to connect with groups of people or students who are interested not only in discovering new realities but also in communicating in English with peers from different nationalities.
As we know, English is the global common language.
This is why the course I manage at PIME in Milan is called English for Travel. It combines the opportunity to chat with people from all over the world with the art of travelling, which has now become more accessible and within everyone’s reach thanks to virtual experiences.
Therefore, this post is aimed at all those who might be interested in connecting with other groups of adult or senior students to "visit" and learn about new places, culture, traditions and so on, also "chatting" in English.
