English : a Global Bridge.
Last night, on 6 February 2026, the Winter Olympics opened in Milan. For a few special moments, the world felt closer.

La scorsa notte, il 6 febbraio 2026, si sono aperti i Giochi Olimpici Invernali a Milano.
Per alcuni momenti speciali, il mondo è sembrato più vicino.
Durante la Cerimonia di Apertura, gli atleti provenienti da molti Paesi si sono trovati insieme. Portavano bandiere diverse, parlavano lingue diverse e provenivano da culture diverse, ma condividevano lo stesso luogo e lo stesso momento.
Un momento particolarmente importante è stato il discorso di Giovanni Malagò, Presidente del Comitato Olimpico Italiano. Ha parlato in inglese.
Questa scelta è stata molto significativa. Non si trattava solo di regole o tradizione. Era un modo per rivolgersi a tutti e includere persone da tutto il mondo.
In quel momento, l’inglese è diventato più di una lingua.
